Positive adjustable linear voltage regulator in DPAK package capable of delivering up to 500 mA output current. Output voltage is user-adjustable from 1.2 V to 37 V using a simple external resistive divider. Features excellent line regulation (0.01% typ.) and load regulation (0.1% typ.) with integrated thermal overload and short-circuit protection for reliable operation in diverse applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
This 3-pin SMD package is difficult to hand-solder due to tight pin spacing and thermal requirements typical of power switching applications. A breakout board breaks out each pin to standard headers, enabling reliable breadboard prototyping and reducing cold-joint risk during development without needing a reflow oven or hot air station.
