Design a Custom BoardFixed 3.3V low-dropout linear regulator with 800mA output current and 1.2V dropout at full load. Features ±1% output accuracy, current limiting, and thermal protection. Requires 10µF minimum output capacitance. Suitable for industrial AC/DC supplies, servo drives, and embedded power applications requiring compact TO-252 packaging.
This 3-pin SMD package is difficult to hand-solder due to tight pin spacing and thermal requirements typical of power switching applications. A breakout board breaks out each pin to standard headers, enabling reliable breadboard prototyping and reducing cold-joint risk during development without needing a reflow oven or hot air station.
