The ATtiny424 is a tinyAVR 2 family microcontroller featuring an 8-bit AVR CPU with hardware multiplier running at up to 20 MHz. It includes 4 KB Flash memory, 512 bytes of SRAM, and 128 bytes of EEPROM, plus integrated peripherals including a 12-bit ADC with programmable gain amplifier and an Event System. Available in a 14-pin SOIC package, it is ideal for embedded control and IoT applications requiring low power consumption.

Why does this need a breakout?
Manual soldering of 1.27mm pitch SOIC-14 leads is tedious and error-prone; a breakout board eliminates this with pre-soldered pads and convenient 0.1-inch headers for breadboard prototyping. Ideal for developing capacitive touch sensor applications or other logic circuits without the fine-pitch assembly hassle.
