The ATtiny44A is a low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller with 4KB flash program memory, 256 bytes EEPROM, and 256 bytes SRAM. It features a 10-bit ADC with 8 single-ended and 12 differential channels, dual timer/counters with PWM, SPI interface, and internal oscillator. Operating from 1.8V to 5.5V at speeds up to 20MHz, it is ideal for compact embedded applications requiring low power consumption.

Why does this need a breakout?
Manual soldering of 1.27mm pitch SOIC-14 leads is tedious and error-prone; a breakout board eliminates this with pre-soldered pads and convenient 0.1-inch headers for breadboard prototyping. Ideal for developing capacitive touch sensor applications or other logic circuits without the fine-pitch assembly hassle.
