Design a Custom BoardOctal positive-edge triggered D-type flip-flop with asynchronous master reset and common clock input. Each of eight flip-flops captures data on the rising edge of the clock pulse, with outputs assuming the state of corresponding data inputs. Supply voltage range 2.0V to 6.0V, operating temperature -40°C to +125°C. Commonly used for parallel data storage, address latches, and control logic.
The 1.27mm pin pitch makes hand-soldering this 20-pin SOIC challenging and error-prone. A breakout board brings all pins to standard 0.1" spacing, enabling reliable breadboard prototyping and simplifying development of USB-to-UART interfaces without requiring reflow soldering or specialized equipment.
